Royal Mail are celebrating 50 years since Concorde's first commercial flight. The miniature sheet comprises four stamps, all 1st class. Three of the stamps were originally part of the 1969 First Flight of Concorde issue, two designed by David Gentleman and one by Michael and Sylvia Goaman, and have been re-released with the King's head. The fourth stamp, designed by David Gentleman, was a design shortlisted for the 1969 issue but not used. The background of the miniature sheet is inspired by the original presentation pack used in 1969.
The BLCS 5000 cover bears a Heathrow, Hounslow handstamp and also one of the original three stamps from the 1969 issue, so may vary from the imaged cover.
