Paul McCartney is probably one of the most prolific and celebrated song writers of all time. From his early days as a member of The Beatles and his successful collaboration with John Lennon through to Wings and beyond, he has composed some of the world's best-loved songs. He was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: in 1988 as a member of The Beatles and again as a solo artist in 1999 and is recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the 'most honoured composer and performer in music'. Four 1st class stamps are included in the sheet which pays tribute to McCartney's album, released on 17th May 1971. Issued in a numbered limited edition of 5000.
