From his early days as a member of The Beatles and his successful collaboration with John Lennon through to Wings and beyond, he has composed some of the world's best-loved songs. He was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: in 1988 as a member of The Beatles and again as a solo artist in 1999 and is recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the 'most honoured composer and performer in music'.
